How to Make a Complaint

Last updated: October 2026

Recoverymum Plumbing wants every homeowner who reaches out to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, tell us. This page explains how to file a complaint and what happens afterward. It is a general template, not legal advice.

Topics We Accept

You can write to us about:

  • Your experience when calling or contacting Recoverymum Plumbing
  • How your personal information was handled
  • Content on this site that looks unclear or wrong
  • The conduct of a plumber we connected you with

When the Issue Is a Provider

Plumbers in our network are independent businesses. They are responsible for their own estimates, pricing, work and customer service. If you have a problem with work done in your home, the usual first step is to raise it with the plumber directly and keep a written record.

Still let us know. Feedback about providers helps keep our network honest, and providers who repeatedly fall short of our expectations may be removed from it. Note that Recoverymum Plumbing cannot settle contract disputes, issue refunds for a provider's work or make decisions on a provider's behalf.

Filing a Complaint

Email contact@recoverymum.garden and include:

  • Your name and a way to reach you
  • The date you contacted us or the plumber
  • The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
  • The provider's name, if you know it
  • A clear account of what happened and the outcome you are hoping for

After You File

We will confirm receipt by email, usually within a few business days. Next we review what happened, which may include contacting the provider. Then we reply with our findings and any steps we are taking.

If You Are Still Unhappy

If our reply does not satisfy you, answer it and ask us to take another look. You may also contact your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau. For problems with plumbing work itself, a state or local plumbing licensing board may be able to help.
